Following guidance from the Bahamas Department of Meteorology, the Disaster Risk Management Authority has given the ALL-CLEAR for Hurricane Melissa in the Central and Southeastern Bahamas. We thank our Family Island Administrators, local Disaster Committees, International and national partners for their service during this activation.
The Bahamas Department of Meteorology has issued the ALL-CLEAR.
There are no effected islands.
There are no updates to closures.
There are no shelter activations.
The hurricane season begins on June 1st and ends on November 30th.
